(De)formovanie vidieka v procese kolektivizácie

The prevalence of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in February 1948 brought great changes to the entire Czechoslovak society. The state's subordination of a major portion of the population – farmers – was affected with the violent implementation of the Soviet collectivization model in domestic economic conditions. With its implementation, the communist regime managed to reconstruct the whole of rural society within few years in a manner that was unprecedented in national history.

The author sees an uncriminal corruption as an acquiring of property and various privileges and benefits according to applicable laws and rules on the basis of political posts and loyalties. He analyzes its symptoms in the interwar democratic Czechoslovak Republik and in the autoritarian wartime Slovak Republic with its growing tendency to the totalitarian regime.

In historiography, there are exceedingly contradictory evaluations of the "long 19th century" with regard to the development of religiosity, the relationship between the state and the churches as well as mutual relations between individual religious communities. Was it the most ecclesiastical century or did the French Revolution began an unstoppable process of retreat of religion from the "theatre" of history? Can we agree with the opinion that the 19th century brought about the onset of the second confessionalisation in Europe?
