O AUTOROVI
Petr Tomášek is an art historian and museum curator, in 2002 graduated in art history and aesthetics from the faculty of arts of Masaryk University in Brno. At the beginning of 2005 he took up the position of an assistant curator of the old Masters collection of the Moravian Gallery in Brno, since 2008 working as the curator of the collection of medieval and early modern painting and sculpture, since 2015 also fine art of the 19th century. A collaborator in preparing a number of exhibitions and publications, his research concentrates on the history of collecting and 18 th – 19th century art. In 2011 prepared exhibition and catalogue "National Gallery of Moravia" (Moravian Gallery Brno), in 2014 co-writer of the book "Joseph Führich (1800 – 1876). From Chrastava to Vienna".
